Music carries hope into places words can’t reach, reminding us that even in quiet or difficult moments, we are not alone.
a concert for a cause
Harmonies for Hope is an evening where live music and storytelling come together to create connection, reflection, and community. Featuring a thoughtfully curated lineup of artists, the night invites guests to slow down, listen deeply, and experience the power of music as a shared language—one that brings people together across stories and backgrounds.
Every ticket to Harmonies for Hope helps open doors to opportunity and healing. Proceeds directly support access to recovery for individuals and families who might otherwise face barriers to care—turning a night of music into lasting impact. Your presence helps ensure that hope, support, and a path forward remain within reach for those who need it most.
meet the producer
John Inghram is an accomplished bassist, songwriter, and producer whose work has left a lasting mark on Appalachia and far beyond. Known for his virtuosic bass playing, he has collaborated across genres with an impressive range of artists, from jazz greats like mentor Bob Thompson, Larry Coryell, and Jane Monheit to country, rock, and jam favorites including Tim O’Brien, Sierra Ferrell, Fletcher’s Grove, and Vince Herman. As a songwriter and vocalist, Inghram blends emotion, groove, and lyrical depth, crafting songs that are both soulful and danceable, while his work as a producer reflects a sharp ear and creative vision. His passion shines in live performance, and in recent years he has become a sought-after producer for all-star tribute shows honoring artists such as Bill Withers, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, John Prine, and Prince, featuring guest appearances by Sierra Ferrell, Sarah Jarosz, Kanika Moore, Arlo McKinley, William Matheny, Emily Scott Robinson, and many others.

stories behind the music
For me, it’s about discovering new artists and, more importantly, witnessing the joy our clients experience by being part of something truly special—where they are celebrated as they should be. For many, it’s their first concert, and hearing them shout, laugh, and cheer each other on as they watch videos of themselves and their brothers and sisters in recovery is incredibly powerful. There’s nothing more special than that.

Harmonies for Hope was a real treat for me. I grew up on listening to Mountain Stage and I have always loved John Prine. Also seeing all the other Recovery Points in one place was super special and all the pictures and testimonies from alumni and current clients was wonderful. I am really looking forward to going again this year.
– D’Arcy Carter, Recovery Point Staff
Recovery Point's winter spirit-raiser, Harmonies for Hope, is just such a beautiful event at which you see the guiding light of music and you feel the community heartbeat of folks coming together in purpose to raise awareness and funds to help continue to grow a healthy and prosperous future to help others along the way. In a lot of ways Harmonies for Hope is like a mini winter Healing Appalachia with a grassroots feel on stage featuring breaking national artists and showcasing some of our best regional acts - and all of them joining together to give and grow our recovery community in Appalachia and America.
