Recovery Point of Huntington played a pivotal role in turning my life around – from a state of despair and hopelessness to a place of hope and sobriety. Being part of this transformative program not only improved my own life but also that of my family. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute to something bigger.
Starting as a program participant and later becoming a staff member at Recovery Point of Huntington opened doors for me in the recovery field. It laid the foundation for a fulfilling career, and I now work at FMRS in Beckley. I owe a debt of gratitude to the staff at RPH who never gave up on me, even when I presented challenges during detox. Looking back, those experiences prepared me for the ups and downs of life after recovery. Beyond my formal role, I engage in street outreach in Raleigh County as a personal hobby. It’s a way for me to give back and help others struggling with addiction. The journey doesn’t end with recovery; it’s a lifelong commitment.
I appreciate the opportunities and support I received at Recovery Point of Huntington, shaping me into who I am today – someone who not only works in the recovery field but also dedicates personal time to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
