Leah cook

Executive Director

Recovery Point West Virginia is proud to announce that Leah Cook has been named Executive Director, effective February 16, 2026.

Leah brings strong experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and strategic program growth—along with a meaningful history with Recovery Point. She first joined the organization early in her career as a Development Associate, later gaining additional experience elsewhere and earning her master’s degree before returning to Recovery Point in 2023 as Vice President of Development. Her work has played a key role in advancing the organization’s sustainability and expanding access to recovery services throughout West Virginia.

Board President Rory Isaac shared his enthusiasm for Leah’s appointment, noting her deep understanding of Recovery Point’s mission and her proven ability to support long‑term, peer‑driven recovery.

Reflecting on her appointment, Cook said: ‘I am deeply honored to step into the role of Executive Director at Recovery Point. This organization exists because people deserve the time, structure, and support needed to rebuild their lives, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I am committed to protecting what makes Recovery Point successful while continuing to strengthen our programs,
support our staff, and ensure that everyone who walks through our doors is treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine opportunities for lasting recovery.”

As Executive Director, Leah will oversee operations, strategic initiatives, and statewide partnerships as Recovery Point continues its mission of providing no‑cost, peer‑led, long‑term recovery programs across West Virginia.
